Hey Tulsa! We are now New York Bagel Cafe!
Almost 13 years after we opened our doors in Brookside and on Yale, Old School Bagel has been a staple in Tulsa with true, New York “boiled and baked” bagels. Did you know that all these years, aside from sharing the logo and the name, our two shops have ALWAYS been separate from all the other locations?
It’s been confusing, we know! That is why we are excited to share the news. We are changing our name back to New York Bagel Cafe.
Native Tulsans and fans of our bagels may remember when we opened stores under that name. Our first store opened in Stillwater in 1986. We opened a Tulsa store in 1991.
It’s time to go back.
The new changes will be rolled out gradually, so you may see some of the old name in places for awhile. We are the same owners who have always been here. We want to stay your privately, Tulsa-owned bagel cafe.
And most importantly: there may be a change in the name, but the bagels are the same.
